If you were admitted to Temple University as a master's or doctoral student, there are a few important things you'll need to do.

1. Choose Temple!

Contact your program to confirm your enrollment. Instructions can be found in your welcome letter sent by your school or college.

2.  Activate your TUportal account.

If you do not yet have a TUportal account, you can activate your account here. You will need your Temple ID (TUid) for this step.

3. Apply for a Certificate of Eligibility.

If you plan to study at Temple University as a nonimmigrant student (F-1 or J-1), you must submit an application for a Certificate of Eligibility. Temple’s Office of International Student and Scholar Services will email you instructions. Please note that a nonrefundable international student orientation fee will be charged to your account when you register at Temple.

4. Pay your enrollment deposit.

You must submit a nonrefundable enrollment deposit on TUportal. This reserves your place in your program of study. You can pay by credit card or bank debit drawn on U.S. funds.

5. Register for classes.

Use the Graduate Course Scheduler to select classes and build your academic schedule.

6. Get to know your new city.

Temple University’s Main Campus is located in the heart of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The sprawling 115-acre campus is just two miles north of Center City—its cultural, financial, historical and retail hub. With a population of more than 1.5 million, Philadelphia is one of the largest cities on the East Coast and in the nation. It is located 100 miles south of New York City and 130 miles north of Washington, D.C.
